The Wurstelprater is considered the oldest amusement park in the world – the first Prater huts opened here back in 1766. Its name comes from the 'Wurstel' (Hanswurst) of the old puppet theatres. Between the Ferris wheel, the Calafati figure and the racing Wild Mouse, the heart of the Viennese summer beats here.
